STEM Camp (NCMI86M)

Have you ever wondered what makes a drone fly, or how to build a battle bot? These questions and more are answered in the -Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) camp- Students will learn about and experience 21st-century skills in STEM. This is done through hands-on learning and projects that can include building bridges, flying drones, programming robots, driving robots, running state of the art manufacturing equipment. Campers leave with a sense of accomplishment and learning about a STEM career. Engineers and Scientists from our local partners are brought in each day to talk with students about career planning. This can have a powerful message for students.
