Transfer Pathways

Transfer pathways provide an opportunity for students to complete an associate degree in designated majors and transfer to a four-year college or university in a similar major to complete a bachelor’s degree. PSU offers a Block Transfer Program in Liberal Arts to many BA and BS programs. Granite State College accepts associate degrees into all bachelor’s degree programs. GSC also has accelerated bachelor’s programs in Business, Psychology, Criminal Justice, and RN to BSN.

NH Transfer (nhtransfer.org)

NH Transfer provides resources and support for New Hampshire students to map the most seamless, efficient and cost effective pathway to degree completion.

At nhtransfer.org, students and parents can find a wealth of information on transfer programs and options as well as scholarship opportunities, advisor contacts, and special events.

To apply to the NH Transfer program (Granite State College, Keene State College, Plymouth State University, UNH Durham, and UNH Manchester), use the online NH Transfer application at https://usnh.tfaforms.net/217771. Be sure to have the application signed by the MCC Career and Transfer Advisor. You will also need to request your transcripts (high school, MCC, and other colleges attended). MCC transcripts can be requested at mccnh.edu/services/registrar/transcript-requests.

NH RN to BSN Programs

There are several completion programs that are designed to assist CCSNH Associate of Science, Nursing graduates who would like to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. They include:

NH RN to BSN Pathway

• Colby-Sawyer College RN to BSN
• Granite State College RN to BSN (same cost per credit as community college courses; can transfer up to 90 credits)
• Plymouth State University RN to BSN
• Rivier University Online RN to BSN
• SNHU Online RN to BSN (reduced tuition; can transfer up to 90 credits) 
• Colby-Sawyer College RN to BS in Nursing Program

New England Regional Student Program

Tuition Break, also known as the New England Regional Student Program, offers eligible students in New England states lower tuition when attending out-of-state public colleges and universities in New England. Sponsored by the New England Board of Education, the program offers a regional tuition rate to eligible students with designated majors.

As a comprehensive community college, MCC has developed partnerships with public and private four-year institutions within and outside New Hampshire in order to provide articulation agreements to assist students who are planning to complete a four-year degree.
