Music, a casino, hypnotist performances, cocktails and food will mark the 65th anniversary celebration at Manchester Community College Friday, April 29.

Alumni, community partners, business partners, current and former faculty, staff and students are invited to help celebrate 65 years of helping students find new careers and better futures.

"We're celebrating the accomplishments of the past 65 years," said MCC President Susan Huard, "and raising funds for the new MCC Presidential Opportunity Scholarship so we can make the college more accessible over the next 65 years… And The 65th Celebration committee has planned a great evening to do that!"

The evening's events will begin with a cocktail reception, music by a string trio from the Manchester Community Music School and hors d'oeuvres by Tidewater Catering. Hypnotist, magician and comedy entertainer Peter Mamos will entertain the crowd at two performances during the evening, while, in the casino, guests may try their luck at blackjack, poker, craps, roulette and other games of chance. Guests can also try their luck with the raffle, buying chances for NASCAR tickets (complete with a helicopter to and from the track), a week at a Marriott resort; a free MCC course; a stay at a bed and breakfast, gift certificates for restaurants, and more.

The $40 ticket price covers all events.
