Child Development Center

The Child Development Center at Manchester Community College is run in conjunction with the Early Childhood Education Program, and is designed to provide a safe, happy learning environment for each child. The classroom environment is arranged into learning centers where children can explore, experiment and enhance all areas of development. Ongoing verbal interactions occur between children, teachers and families on a daily basis and written communication exists through posting weekly lesson plans, schedules and weekly individual child notes. Our daily schedule allows for children to participate in individual, small and large group activities that offer opportunities for quiet and active play.
