Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Program
Nursing courses and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing (ASN) and are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Exam. Students may continue on to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at various four-year nursing programs.
LPN to RN Option
LPN to RN option for currently licensed LPNs only who want to advance their education and graduate with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing. Please note that MCC does not offer the LPN program.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 summer LPN to RN Hybrid course is cancelled. The 8 students admitted into the LPN to RN to begin summer of 2020 have been offered the available seats for summer 2021. As a result, MCC will have few, if any, available LPN to RN seats for new applicants for summer of 2021. The Office of Admission is curtailing LPN to RN Information sessions until December of 2020 and not accepting any applications into this program until further notice.
LPN students interested in joining our RN program always have the option of applying to the regular program for Fall 2021 and admission into Nursing I. Please attend an RN Nursing Information if this is of interest to you.
Pathway for NH's Future Nurses Option (FPU)
A partnership between MCC, Franklin Pierce University (FPU) and Elliot Health Systems; students enroll in courses that meet the requirements of both colleges during their first 3 years at MCC, receive their ASN from MCC and are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Exam. Students then complete their Bachelor degree in Nursing through FPU online courses during the fourth year. Students must be able to complete full time coursework including summers. Read more about the Pathway for NH's Future Nurses Option.
