Through a realistic approach, students learn the rules for building and defining medical terms, the correct pronunciation and spelling of medical terms and the application of medical terminology as it relates to each body system. Introduces various types of medical records and reports and provides the skills to read and interpret them. A variety of activities guide the student in the application of medical terminology as it relates to the clinical world. Prerequisite: Placement into ENGL110M.
