ETEC160M - Residential, Commercial and Industrial Wiring (3-3-4)

This course presents comprehensive coverage of the requirements and methods for wiring residential, commercial and industrial installations. The subject matter will include interpretation and analysis of electrical schematics, load calculations, equipment types and applications, special occupancies, special equipment and special conditions as they relate to the three installation types. The National Electrical Code will be an integral part of this course. The material presented in this course satisfies NH Electrical Apprentice training requirements. Laboratory work will reinforce and promote the application of theoretical concepts. Prerequisites: ETEC120M or permission of Program Coordinator. Corequisite: MATH151M.
