Web Accessibility

Project Summary

The Manchester Community College website re-design was completed in May 2010 and development work was completed in October 2010. Our website was given a new look along with added functionality for easy navigation. The homepage re-design allows viewers to find proper information in an interactive slider by using four categories: Future Students, Current Students, Faculty and Staff and, Business and Industry.

The navigation of the site allows the viewer to find information by using nine main categories: About, Academics, Admissions, Alumni, Student Life, Student Services, Business, Community, and Contact. All information on this site falls under one of these primary categories.

The secondary and tertiary pages were designed with a clean look to allow the viewers to be able to read the information clearly.

The new oversized footer at the bottom of the every page allows visitors to quickly get information from three categories: I am looking for, College Offices and Services, and Student/Web Tools. The new footer also allows the visitors to stay connected with MCC with social media links.
