Namibia Mission - Arandis, Namibia, South Western Africa
Dates: Summer 2012
We are embarking on our second Namibia Mission in Summer 2012. It's a rigorous, exciting and life-changing service to Arandis, Namibia. We will bring our various skills and education resources to teach young children at Talitha Kumi Christian Academy. There will be an effort to bring expertise in the areas of Special Education and the use of Technology in the classroom; as part of our team to lead workshops for teachers. In addition, there will be plenty of time to spend with the children! This is no small feat! It's not for the faint at heart! In addition to the work at the Christian school, you will need to challenge yourself to eat interesting foods, get up close and personal with various bugs and spiders, experience Namibian hospitality, and make your home in a community so vastly different than your own in America.
