Due to the large number of people interested in our Nursing programs, we are unable to schedule individual appointments to review program information. In an effort to provide you with the most current and comprehensive information about our programs, we require prospective nursing students attend a Nursing Information Session. Information regarding pre-reqs, the admissions process, the entrance exam, academic requirements (nursing and general education), and competitive ranking is covered in detail during the session. Participants will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for admission and will have the opportunity to ask questions. A follow up individual appointment may be scheduled if necessary. Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Program
Students may complete on a part time basis, however, nursing and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. Students may continue on to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at various four-year nursing programs.
LPN to RN Program
An advance placement program for currently licensed LPNs only . MCC does not offer an LPN program.
Pathway for NH's Future Nurses Program (FPU)
A partnership between MCC, Franklin Pierce University (FPU) and Elliot Health Systems, students enroll in courses that meet the requirements of both colleges during their first 3 years at MCC, receive their ADN and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. Students complete their Bachelor degree in Nursing through FPU online/hybrid courses during the fourth year. Students must be able to complete full time coursework including summers. Early Childhood Education / Teacher Education Sessions
Required for all Early Childhood Education and Teacher Education applicants.
These Information Sessions will cover both the Early Childhood Education program and the Teacher Education program.
